Pour la première fois, Avril a lancé deux singles avant la sortie de son nouvel album. Ceci s'explique par le fait que le premier single Here's To Never Growing Up est sorti bien en amont de l'album "Avril Lavigne" (le 9 avril alors que le quatrième album est commercialisé depuis le 4 novembre). Rock N Roll est donc dévoilé le 19 juillet. C'est un titre entraînant qui reste dans la gamme des chansons qu'Avril a l'habitude de faire. Plus notable, le clip est très original et met en scène une Avril luttant munie d'une guitare tronçonneuse pour maintenir en vie le Rock N Roll. Elle doit notamment faire face à un homard armé et à un requin-ours. Des personnalités comme Billy Zane (vu dans Titanic) ont participé à la vidéo. Bien qu'étrange, ce clip est une vraie réussite.

For the first time, Avril launched a second single before the release of her new album. This could be explained by the fact that the single Here's To Never Growing Up came out quite early before the "Avril Lavigne" record (on the 9th of April while the fourth album came out on the 4th of November). Thus Rock N Roll can be heard from the 19th of July. It is a catchy song which remains quite similar to Avril's previous ones. More notably, the video clip is very original and shows Avril fighting with a chainsaw guitar to keep Rock N Roll alive. She especially encounters a lobster with a weapon and a bearshark. Personalities as Billy Zane (seen in Titanic) participated in the video. Although it is quite weird, this video is a success.
